Lester Wong
Group Chief Financial Officer

Mr Wong was appointed the Group’s Chief Financial Officer on 1 February 2006. As CFO, he directs the financial activities of the Group and is responsible for financial controls, treasury, tax and the management of information technology.  Mr Wong has been with Wearnes for over 10 years and is a member of ICPAS. Before his appointment as CFO, he was the head of Corporate Development. He has worked for the Investment Company of the People’s Republic of China and has been an auditor and management consultant with Coopers & Lybrand, CPAs.  He obtained his MBA from the University of Chicago. He is also a Non-executive Director of Wearnes’ SGX-listed subsidiary, MFS Technology.
