Yeap Lam Yang Mr Yeap was appointed an Independent and Non-executive Director in August 2007 and was last re-elected in 2011. He is currently the Chairman of the Audit Committee and a member of the Nominating and Remuneration Committees. Mr Yeap was a Director of Ban Hin Lee Bank Berhad, previously listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange and was also the Chief Executive Officer of its Singapore Branch. He was appointed a Director of Southern Bank Berhad (also previously listed on Bursa Malaysia), and the CEO of its Singapore Branch, following the merger of these two banks in October 2000. He resigned as CEO of the Singapore Branch of Southern Bank Berhad in September 2006, following the transfer of its banking assets to CIMB Bank. Mr Yeap has a BSc (Econs) First Class Honours from the London School of Economics and Political Science. |
