Dr Peter Eng Dr Peter Eng, 43, was appointed a non-executive and non-independent Director of the Board on 1 August 2008. He is a member of the Risk Committee. He has his own medical practice as a Consultant Endocrinologist at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre and is currently also appointed as a Visiting Consultant at the Singapore General Hospital as well as a Visiting Consultant with Dover Park Hospice. He was previously the Director of the Diabetes Centre at the Singapore General Hospital and was also a clinical lecturer with the National University of Singapore. Besides clinical work, Dr Eng is involved in diabetes research and serves as a reviewer for both the Singapore Medical Journal and the Annals of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. He received his medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 1988. |
