Norman Ip Ka Cheung Mr Ip was appointed to the Board in August 2007 and was last re-elected as an Independent and Non-executive Director in 2011. He is currently the Chairman of the Board. He is also a member of the Nominating and Audit Committees. Mr Ip is currently the Chairman of UE E&C Ltd and Malaysia Smelting Corporation Berhad (listed on Bursa Malaysia). He is also a Director of United Engineers Limited, Great Eastern Holdings Limited, AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT Management Limited and a Member of the Building and Construction Authority, Singapore. Mr Ip retired as the President & Group CEO and Executive Director of The Straits Trading Company Limited Group of companies on 31 October 2009. Mr Ip graduated with a BSc (Econs) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Singapore. |
